Right, so I didn't think

Right, so I didn't think that I cared that much about the election, but the thought of George W. Bush as president is just completely repulsive. One of Dave's professors referred to Dubya as "the idiot son of a failed president." I concur. And enough of that topic.

And let me just add that I'm very happy with my new television obsession: The West Wing. What a great show! I just need to go through more of the episode guide and get a grip on the characters and such. Thank God for the Internet, right?

A Diva's Christmas Carol is currently my background noise. I can't help but think of last year watching the TNT (?) version of A Christmas Carol, the one with Patrick Stewart as Scrooge. The kid who played Tiny Tim really needed to be put out of his misery. His version of "Silent Night" was simply...I can't even think of the word for it. The only good thing about that movie was mocking it. I wonder what Dickens think of what an icon his tale has become...

Current song in my head:
"The Twelve Days of Christmas" [Horrible! Kill me now!]
