Premise of a game: Everyone brings in something they have at home, something they don't want, something they don't like. They everyone exchanges gifts. A fun game, except everyone winds up with a piece of crap. Unless, of course, your name is Carla, in which case you wind up with an awesome toy gun. I'm jealous. And I would totally hate her for it, except she also brought in butterscotch-oatmeal cookies. So I forgive her just about everything. And even though the game itself is a little odd (and I wound up with a perfectly hideous elephant), it was probably the funnest hour of work I've had. Not counting lunch--particularly the lunch where I opened my checking and savings account, helped by cute Mike. But anyway. Holiday parties are good.
