Being a night person really

Being a night person really does suck. I should not be at my most alert at 9 or 10 at night. Plus, the world is not meant for night people. Everything closes when I'm at work! And my body is saying "Party!" just when my brain is saying, "Go to bed. You have to get up at 7 tomorrow morning." Plus, all those "early to bed, early to rise" people are completely prejudiced against us night people.

So my parents visited today and my mom brought up all these papers and records for me to keep in my files. Like I know what to do with the receipt for my furniture that we bought in 1985! Although it is nice having my medical records. So now I know that I got my diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis shot on January 5, 1979. And a measles shot March 26, 1980. Plus, all those papers decorate my desk really well.

And I LOVE my new tv. I will love it forever and ever. Now all I need is an entertainment center...

My cubicle is much less

My cubicle is much less fun without the fort and the moat. Oh well. At least I've been so busy lately that I haven't really had a chance to notice that it's gone.

I never realized how much water really does fill you up. That's a good thing. Who knew? I'm all for the eight glasses a day. Except it involves a lot more trips to the ladies room. The price we pay for health.

Now, a lot of people

Now, a lot of people dump on cubicles (and I'll admit that's easy, what with their lack of doors and ceilings; for more fun treatments of cubicles, check out Dilbert), but they're missing one of the best things about them: it's like being surrounded by a bulletin board. You can hang stuff up anywhere. Complete decorating freedom (unless you want to hang up something heavy, I guess). Except for the fact that it would be incredibly aesthetically displeasing, I'd almost want my whole apartment with cubicle-type walls. As long as they were taller than five feet.
