I had a quite nice

I had a quite nice weekend. I got some errands done, started my Christmas shopping, did laundry. I saw Man of La Mancha and marveled at the wonder of Brian Stokes Mitchell. I won tickets to see Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets the night before it opens. Because of a broken film, I wound up with two free movie passes (one of which I used to see the truly horrible Abandon; redeemed by seeing Sweet Home Alabama directly afterwards). I got some quiet time at home. All in all, lovely. It was my first weekend at home since September, and I won’t have another full weekend at home until mid-November. I enjoy travelling, but it is nice to just spend time at home.

Anyway, back at work and completely unmotivated. I’ve been this way about work for a while. I don’t know why. Is it me? Is it the job? Is this a sign that I should change jobs? Not that looking for a new job is motivating, either. Sigh.

Current song in my head:
“Take a Chance on Me” by ABBA
