I meant to blog yesterday...but didn't. The weekend in Gettysburg was fantastic; it was gorgeous out and I had a great time, both at O'Rourke's and just wandering around the greater Gettysburg area. Carrie and I continue our apartment search, and I think we're just about done. We've narrowed down the options, and the places all look pretty nice. I've moved from manuscript to typeset pages of the book I'm in charge of, which means I now get to deal with proofreading and indexing (no, I don't do the indexing; what I meant it, this means dealing with more freelancers). I still have to go on two First Ladies tour and write an outline for my tour. I'm probably going to buy a ticket for the exhibition of the World Figure Skating Championships. My parents' 35th anniversary is this Sunday. I plan on spending tonight going through my stuff and getting rid of a lot of crap I don't need because, for maybe the first time in my life, I'm motivated to do that.
So that's where I am. Just a quick update for all of you. Because I know you all were insanely worried after I haven't blogged for a whole four days.
Current song in my head:
