It’s kind of annoying when your life is pretty quiet, with most evenings free, but then three things you want to do all happen on the same evening. It’s just very frustrating. Case in point: August 21. My book club meets that night. There’s an author doing a book-signing that I want to attend. And it’s the finale of The Amazing Race, which means TARCon up in New York. Even if it doesn’t mean TARCon, it’s still airing at 8 that night. The book-signing is at 7 in Bethesda. The book club is at 7:30 downtown. Admittedly the author is going to be in Baltimore the next night, so theoretically I could go there. But that still leaves the choice between TAR and the book club. I hate decisions.
