I went to Ohio this

I went to Ohio this weekend and had a lovely visit with my sister and brother-in-law. I got to meet their puppy, who’s very adorable and has very sharp teeth. I introduced them to the joy that is the Container Store and we saw the Crew beat Kansas City. But the big excitement came as I was leaving. I made it a mile down the road when my car decided to stop working. Lights and radio? Okay. Power steering? Nope. Ability to turn the car on? Not so much. So I wound up leaving 4 hours late in a rental car, with my car sitting in a shop in Columbus. Which means a trip back this weekend to pick my car up. And since Kathy and Robert are going to be at a wedding in Ohio, it’s going to be a straight go-there-come-back mission. Mmm, 13 hours, almost straight, in a car. Whee.

In other news, I have no motivation to tackle the pile of work on my desk. On a related note, if you ever wanted to play miniature golf online, you can.

Current song in my head:
“Where the Streets Have No Name” by U2
