Blender magazine is clearly smoking crack. They released their picks of the worst songs of all top. Top of the list: "We Built This City" by Starship. Other choices include "Achy Breaky Heart," "Don't Worry, Be Happy," "American Life," and "Everybody Have Fun Tonight." Lest you think it only includes songs from the past 20 years, there is also a Beatles song on there: "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da." Evidently the people at Blender have never read Dave Barry's take on the worst songs of all time. His top pick was, if I recall, "MacArthur Park," which includes the lyrics
Someone left the cake out in the rain
I don't think that I can take it
'Cause it took so long to bake it
And I'll never have that recipe again
Oh, no!
In what way is "We Built This City" worse than that?
