Take me out

Whee! I have tickets to the Orioles opener, April 4 against the A's. I'm totally skipping work and will sit shivering in the cold. I would've prefered to go to Florida and see them in action there, but finances prevented me. Ah well. So a month from today, I'll be in Baltimore, seeing my boys again. My boys who, by the way, won their spring training opener yesterday. My Boyfriend Brian Roberts hit the go-ahead single and stole a base. And went 2-3 (and was hit by a pitch). Yay!

I had my penultimate tap class this week. I think I'm going to sign up for the intermediate classes. I've had a lot of fun doing tap, and it really is good exercise (which I really need to be doing more of). We're supposed to get a sheet with the routine written out on it. My biggest problem is transitioning from one combination to anther. But anyway.

Things with me are going pretty well, though lately I've sort of found myself being kind of annoyed with a lot of things. And not necessarily for any reason. There are certain things in my life (e.g., bills) that I wish I could wave my hand and they would go away. But they won't, so I'm just having to cope.

But right now I'm all sunshine and happiness. I have my O's tickets. Tomorrow they're televising the O's-Nats game. It's my compressed day. Colin is being very cute, huddled under the covers on my bed (it's a bit chilly in the apartment). My weekend is open, other than having people over tonight. It's a good day.

Current song in my head:
"There She Goes" by Sixpence None the Richer
