Though he is obnoxious and disliked

I was watching The American Revolution on the History Channel earlier, and like many similar programs, it included excerpts from letters written at the time. As one letter was being read, I knew that it was a John Adams letter. How did I know? They intelligently used William Daniels--who played Adams in the original Broadway production and movie version of 1776--to do the voiceover. Made me very happy.
