Stan Berenstain, a co-author of the Berenstain Bears books, died. I loved those books growing up; I had a ton of them. My favorite was The Berenstain Bears and the Messy Room. I so wanted Brother and Sister's bedroom at the end, when it's all cleaned up and their toys are in neatly labeled boxes and Brother's reading in a little chair in the middle of the room. That's how I wanted my room to be. Never happened. I do get a similar feeling when I go into The Container Store. I go in there and get delusions that one day my apartment can be that organized.

something about the wacky and slightly crude anthropomorphic illustrations only enhanced my childhood terror.
I never read this book seriese, but I am too old (yes, and i can still see with my eyes to read this!) My grandchildren have many MESSY rooms, maybe for christmas they will get this book. Is it sensible reading for sixteen-years old? (hint: Not drugs or sex or anything.)
Cheer up Barbie, the Container store is only lying with all those boxes. nobody has that many!! not me, but drawers in the walls do the trick, hand it from edgar.
