Even though he was cruelly snatched from me this year, I still follow with interest the career of Former Reserve Oriole Boyfriend Larry Bigbie. Turns out he was just traded from the Colorado Rockies to the St. Louis Cardinals. I'm really happy for him. He'll finally be on a winning team. I hope that he plays up to his potential. And I may have to go see him when the Cards are in town to play the Nats.
Meanwhile, I am waiting for the O's to make any meaningful moves, though I was happy to see Steve Kline get traded. I imagine he'll do pretty well next year; his pitching was improving by the end of the season. But still, his attitude isn't welcome. He probably was more than happy to get out of Baltimore.
Current song in my head:
"Photograph" by Nickelback
you can marry him, then Larry Bigbie's wife will be "Barbie Bigbie"!! THE ONE AND ONLY BARB, that is. LOL. He will be happier in St. Louis, it is very historic, we know a fine bed and breakfast there.
Nickelback is my grandson's t-shirt! I did not know this was a band. I don't know Barbie, it's all a noise to these ears.
