Things I have learned from this cold

1. Sudafed is not effective in this case.
2. DayQuil is.
3. DayQuil and NyQuil should be spaced more than 7 hours apart. Not allowing enough time between the two leads to a drive to work spent trying to determine current blood alcohol content and a morning of wooziness.
4. ColdEeze tastes pretty good until the end, when it gets weird.
5. Puffs Plus and Kleenex with Lotion are both nice, but if you spend over two weeks blowing your nose a lot, your nose will get sore, no matter what.

Wow, I've gotta knock on wood--I feel like I'm the only person I know who hasn't been sick yet this season! I find dayquil makes me pretty fuzzy in the head, tho, even though it helps with symptoms. And watch out for DXM--that's a trip (literally). OH man--ColdEEZ brings back bad memories. I had mono a few years back and got some of those lozenges for my throat, which was in AGONY, and I swear--the minute I put one in my mouth, it burned my throat like frostbite. No thank you! Maybe they've improved the formula since then.
