I agreed to participate in an event for Gettysburg's Career Planning & Advising this afternoon. I figured it would be silly to go home after tutoring to then double-back in an hour, so I drove up, grabbed a quick lunch, then settled in at Musselman Library to work on some proofreading. Man, it made me miss college. I was totally productive (it's amazing how productive I am when there's no television or computer to distract me) and it was just really nice being in that environment again. Typical--just when I reached the point where I didn't have to be physically dragged from campus when it comes time to leave.
I also had a really nice dinner with Mary. I don't see her very often, but she's one of those people that when I do see her, it's still easy.
Current song in my head:
"'The Ballad of Booth" from Assassins
