1. For his birthday yesterday, we went to the Frederick Keys game. The Keys were having Brian Robets bobblehead night. We got there too late to get the bobblehead, but Brent bought one off someone for me. Which is, quite frankly, the Best Thing Ever, making him the Best Person Ever. (Except Brian, of course, who is Perfection Personified. Except that he really needs a haircut. And he needs to trim back his sideburns.) Anyway, Brent got me a present on his birthday! Awww.
2. When going through old pictures, Brent found the following picture, taken at the wax museum in Gettysburg:
How awesome is that? Sadly, it doesn't appear to be the only figure of Lincoln in the museum, which would've kicked all kinds of ass, to the point where I might've had to break down and see it for myself. I also love how both Lincoln and Booth look like crap, but Mary Lincoln comes off pretty well.
3. Because of this picture:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BRENT!

Posted by: Brent at July 23, 2006 09:47 PMThat picture of you is hott! Is that a watch you're wearing or did you break free of the hospital's restraints? : )
Posted by: steve at July 25, 2006 01:46 PMWhat car were you in that tnerB has that much head room?
We're actually in a Gettysburg van; we're on our way back from seeing "Reunion" at...Ford's Theatre! On the anniversary of the assassination! It was cool. Anyway, it's from spring of 2000.
Posted by: Barb at July 25, 2006 06:47 PMSo are you guys dating now?? :) :) :)
Posted by: romantic at July 25, 2006 10:53 PMUm, no. First of all, his girlfriend probably wouldn't appreciate that. It is possible to be friends with members of the opposite sex--no romance needed.
Posted by: Barb at July 26, 2006 09:05 AMBarb, let's not deny it anymore . . . you love John Wilkes Booth!
Posted by: Brent at July 26, 2006 11:48 AM. . . and you go inside drugs.
Posted by: Brent at July 26, 2006 11:49 AMYeah, you got me...I'm totally dating John Wilkes Booth. Via time machine. (And am all about the drugs, obviously.)
Posted by: Barb at July 26, 2006 01:38 PMWow, it's possible to be JUST FRIENDS with members of the opposite sex? And here I am, seducing every male I see, just because I can't think of any other way to get to know them! Tell me more!!!
Posted by: romantic at July 26, 2006 01:50 PMThat is sad for you, romantic. Maybe if you worked on your self-esteem you wouldn't feel the need to base your personal value on who you are attached to. Perhaps you need some activities other than seducing men to make you feel more self-actualized.
Posted by: Steve at July 26, 2006 03:38 PMWait a minute . . . could "romantic" be a certain "juicy" person we know?
