Welcome to Cooperstown

I had forgotten that today was the day the Baseball Hall of Fame would announce its 2007 inductees until I was flipping around the tv–I noticed that MASN was airing Cal Ripken’s last game. And tonight? They’re airing 2131. It’s a big day for Orioles fan. Cal Ripken IS the Orioles. He could possibly set a record for the highest percentage of votes–and he deserves it. I’ll probably have to skip watching the game tonight (well, after I get home from eating at 1789 for Restaurant Week, which I’m very excited about). Because 2131 makes me cry. Oh, Cal. Please buy the O’s. Now.

    Hey,
Hope you enjoy your dinner. Jimmy and I ate there for our anniversary. It was nice! Have fun!

I’m going to the induction ceremony :o).

You’re going to the induction ceremony? I hate you. Even so, I expect a full account and many pictures.

Yeah… a friend of mine lives in Albany, which is right around an hour and a half from Cooperstown. So, we’re going to use his house as a staging area… I’m totally psyched. I’ve never been to the HOF, and i figure this is as good an excuse as any.
